"On behalf of all members of Kadca I would like to say a huge Thank You to everyone who helped make Saturday such a success! From our main sponsor Curam Software, our equipment sponsor Victor, the 9 event sponsors, raffle prize and online donators, all the gang that helped out in the lead up to and on the day, particularly; Caryn, Elaine, Joanne, Judith, Keith, Norma and Sandra, our two photographers on the day Dave and Alan but most of all to the 116 of you that came and played on the day!

The help and support we received not just from past and present members of Kadca but members of other Clubs ,Leagues and Cups, LBBUI and BI was just amazing.

We really have been blown away by everyone’s generosity with both their time and money, we have already beaten last year’s total. Right now we’re up to €5500 but the count continues as donations are still arriving in!  And it's not too late if you would like to contribute there is still time to donate online (by the link on our home page) or send an email to charity-open@kadca.com to get the postal address.

As I said on the day, Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital have to upgrade two of their critical illness wards this year which are outdated by more than 50 years. These wards look after kids who are seriously ill with everything from Cystic Fibrosis, acute Asthma to Cancer. The cost of these upgrades will come to just under €2 million all of which has to be funded entirely from public donations!! Crumlin desperately need help because when it comes to the care of our kids making do just isn’t good enough!!
